Product Description

It is formed as a result of melting locally supplied inorganic raw materials at 1350°C-1400°C and turning them into fibers. It can be produced in different sizes and technical features, with different coating materials, in the form of mattresses, plates, pipes and casts, depending on the place and purpose of use. It provides fire safety along with heat insulation, sound insulation and acoustic arrangement. 
Izocam Rockwool has EUCEB certificate since 2008.

General Information

  • The thermal conductivity declared value (at 10°C) is 0.035 ≤ λ ≤ 0.040 W/mK.
  • Depending on the thermal conductivity declaration value, Izocam Rockwool products are in the 035 and 040 thermal conductivity groups.
  • The water vapor diffusion resistance factor is μ = 1.
  • Depending on the product type, the operating temperature is between -50/+650°C. The melting temperature is >1000°C.
  • Even if it is exposed to heat and humidity, its dimensions do not change.
  • It does not deteriorate over time, does not rot, does not become moldy, does not corrode or rust. It cannot be destroyed by insects and microorganisms.
  • It is not hygroscopic and capillary.
  • Uncoated rockwool products are in the A1 class, which is "non-combustible materials" according to TS EN 13501-1.
  • It is not hygroscopic and capillary.
  • Izocam Rockwool, which has CE and TSE certificates, also has EUCEB certificate. According to EUCEB (European Certification Board for Mineral Wool Products) European Directive 1272/2008 /EC, Izocam Rockwool is biodegradable and is not classified as a carcinogenic
